Elke post wordt door mij gecontroleerd op compleetheid op Usenet, voordat ie op Spotnet
geplaatst wordt. Mocht je problemen hebben met downloaden, download de NZB met de 
website link, save de NZB en gebruik Grabit (freeware)om de files met de gedownloade 
NZB binnen te halen.

FORMATEN :
-losse DTS WAV's : deze kunnen zonder pauzes op een audio-cd gebrand worden
-DTS CD met Cue : branden als image op CD
-DTS DVD : afspeelbaar op DVD spelers, branden als DVD
-5.1 FLAC : dit zijn lossless 5.1 files speciaal voor mediaplayers
-Hybrid DVDA : DVD met content in VIDEO-TS en AUDIO-TS. Afspeelbaar op gewone DVD en op
DVDA spelers. Beste kwailteit bij afspelen op een echte DVDA speler
-Non Hybrid DVDA : alleen content in AUDIO-TS en alleen afspeelbaar op echte DVDA spelers.
Branden als DVD.
-BluRay : Branden als BluRay. Voor gebruik op een mediaplayer : laadt de ISO in DVD FAB
Virtual Drive en stream naar de mediaplayer vanaf de virtuele Bluray. Op de computer :
Gebruik DVD FAB Virtual Drive en Arcsoft Total Media Theatre. De enige combinatie die op
de PC werkt zoals het hoort.

This is the definitive collection: all 711 master recordings as released during Elvis' lifetime, mastered from the original analog master tapes where available. EOH Comment :

This was a terrible job, but a labour of love.
Every song was converted and tweaked to the best possible result, with
the emphasis on an as clear as possible sound and excellent soundfield,
before separation.
Because the collection has so many different ways of recording, the
used method couldn't be minimized to one only. On every song I used the
method that gave the best result. High separation methods were not used
because of artifacts.
The first 4 CD's were mono only and after a week of trying all known
mono to stereo converters I decided to keep it as basic as possible and used pure Ambisonics which was the only conversion routine to give
a good result and the filling of the room and even some sense of where
the instruments were during the recording is quite amazing.
After the first 4, the records became stereo. And that stereo is very 
clearly "Band at Once" stereo, or in other words : recorded with 2 
microphones on 2-tracks. Amazing that they managed to keep Elvis'
voice in a phantom center, especially when you know that some of these
recordings were pre 60's. There were however quite some issues that 
gave me the impression they transfered the analog masters to digital,
without doing any adjustments, despite what they say on the website. 
On the first 15 CD's at least 20 songs had a clear hiss in the stereo rips. The difference between left and right channel was on some songs quite high, 6 Db RMS difference was no exception ! Not quite what 
you expect from remasters !
This all lead to having to use different methods to achieve the best
possible result. I think I did a good job on these and I hope you enjoy
them as much as I did !

NL extra commentaar :
Dit is de klus waar ik 10 weken mee bezig geweest ben !
Het kost echt gigantisch veel tijd om iedere song apart te converteren en te beluisteren en
eventuele aanpassingen te maken. Ook het authoren van de DVD is een gigantische klus
met zoveel nummers, maar volgens mijn oren is het eindresultaat een sieraad voor mijn oren.
Ik hoop dat dat voor de downloaders ook zal gelden !
