CD3, 30-33 van Franz Joseph Haydn, The Complete Symphonies 
door Philharmonia Hungarica olv. Antal Dorati.

This is a phenomenal re-issue - thirty-three (!) discs containing all of Haydn's 104 symphonies plus the lovely Sinfonia Concertante at a truly remarkable price. These are Dorati's landmark recordings which I think remain the best complete cycle of Haydn's symphonies available. There is a wealth of invention, melody, charm, passion and, of course, wit here which Dorati brings out with great understanding and expertise. He is a wonderful conductor of Haydn, and I simply cannot recommend this set too highly.
This is billed as a limited edition, and I don't know for how long it will be available, but while it is I recommend that you snap it up. It will give you pleasure for years and years.
