 delta-blues & jazz singer-songwriter.
 Recorded in the 90s & 00s, mostly for Rykodisc, Roll Away The Blues highlights his remarkable improvisational finger picking and lap-slide guitar skills, and the husky, confessional vocals that have enraptured audiences around the world.

 We include tracks from the five albums and one EP he recorded for Rykodisc, tracks from his acclaimed debut ( Lead Me On ), a wonderful cover of the Robert
 Johnson classic Hellhound on My Trail he recorded with Canadian duo Zubot & Dawson and two previously unreleased compositions he recorded for Andy
 Kershaw in session for BBC1.
