Radionomy is na jaren van stilte weer van plan een nieuwe versie van de mediaspeler Winamp uit te brengen. 

De bèta, is al "gelekt" en stond op internet maar, is nu ook officieel van de website van de ontwikkelaar verkrijgbaar. 

Radionomy nam in 2015 Winamp over van Nullsoft, maar ondanks enkele beloftes deed het verder niets met de software. 

In de nieuwe versie is in eerste oogopslag weinig veranderd en biedt dan ook voornamelijk bugfixes. 

Ook zijn de mogelijkheden waarvoor betaald moet worden, de zogenaamde pro-features, verwijderd. De changelog voor deze uitgave kan hieronder worden gevonden.
