The second cd from the Poogie Bell Band is a fun trip into the world of hippy jazz if you bought the first CD the new one shows the bands growth as a unit and this time around we brought grammy award winning Marcus Miller on bass on three tracks and as a co- producer we have the great Wha Wha Watson on guitar the great guitar man Dean Brown rippin things upwe have Bobby Sparks (RH Factor) on key's Keith Anderson (Rh Factor) on saxplus the great guy's from my band Howie Alexander(key's) Juan Vasquez (guit)Kevin Barefoot(bass) Ian Gordon(trump) Tony Campbell(alto sax)........
the songs here lean more toward the funk side of things but we stay true to our hippy jazz roots with alot of jamming.
blues and gospel,hip-hop mixed in with jazz........so pick this one up you will be happy you did!!!!!!!!
