Post Description

Ken has a long history on the New York and Long Island musical scene. He's been in many original rock groups, jazz fusion projects, and a professional sideman through the years. The roots of his guitar style in his formative years, came from his love of guitar greats such as Duane Allman, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck. When the seventies came along, progressive rock and fusion music began to influence and expand the horizons of what could be done with the guitar or music in general. The advent of fusion music peaked Ken's interest towards newer guitarists like Allan Holdsworth, John Scofield, Pat Metheny and Scott Henderson. Ken began to study with renown guitarist and teacher Billy Bauer.During this time he immersed himself in the world of jazz and composition. It is this musical journey through rock and jazz that has come to define Ken's guitar playing and writing.
