This concert from Grant Park in Chicago is most likely her best outdoor show EVER! I t also is where the Bulls held their NBA Championship rallies after they won all their titles in the 90's! The Blackhawks also had their title winning rally back in June after disposing the stinki'n Boston Bruins for the Stanley Cup! Back to Shania. I like Rock n Roll the best,and in her book From This Moment On, she likes the same bands as I do and I am sure many other fans of her's do too. COOL! She likes the Eagles' Earth Wind and Fire, the Doobie Brothers, Gordon Lightfoot, Caren Carpenter of of courseThe Carpenters Terry Jacks's doi'n Seasons in the Sun and other top groups of that time era which is considered the best era, period for rock music! So, the woman definitely has great taste for music from the word GO! She has all of these elements in her songs which we true rockers will love forever! I only saw her videos on cable over the years but finally got on her web back in May and at the top is that FREE gig from Grant Park in Chicago. I being quite knowledgeable about music was totally elated by how good she and her band played that night back in July 2003. Good God they sure do play them violins and keyboards like real pros and accomplished musicians! With 3 dudes on guitars and what, 3 or 4 playing those good o'l country fiddles plus J.D. Blair on drums with those cool looking goggles and shades which he switches them on and off during the concert. He gives a different look I've never seen by a drummer and I have been to many concerts at the Philadelphia Spectrum since the 70's! I just can't get enough of Shania's concert and am very glad I got the DVD a few weeks ago which is better than the computer one because it has 6 additional songs on it and she goes into the front of the crowd and sings She's Not Just a Pretty Face holding arms and hands with some cool young girls who you can tell love her and her music! Her love songs bring tears to my eyes such as Forever and For Always and From This Moment On. Gotta go now, I'm pressed for time. I really love her very much and always carry the UP! lyric and songbook with me everyday so I can adore her gorgeous face! I wish I could meet her and I am sure we would get along just fine talking about music and sports. She is an athletic type woman and grew up wanting to be with the guys and be a rugged type girl, not the softie kind! Just look at her all over that stage running around never getting tired at all and singing real damn good!
