Post Description

James Robert Davis is a seasoned professional writer, producer, and performer. His music spans a 25 year career of performing and studio work. The blues songs, and guitar work are inspired by Eric Clapton, BB King, Albert Brooks, and his folk rock ballads are inspired by great artists like Don Henley, Jim Croce, and Harry Chapin. James has shared the stage with Little Richard, Pure Praire League, and a host of midwest's finest musicians. The title cut, "Ain't Life Funny" was written for James's granddaughters, and express a heartfelt positive attitude towards life. If you like blues then "Another Love Will Fall", an original, and Muddy Water's "Blow Wind Blow" feature tasteful guitar work and solid band sound. "They Danced" is an upbeat bar room ballad, with a story about two aging, and lonely people. "True Heroes" is a tribute to the American working class. "It's So Crazy" was written in 1971 while starving in the California music scene. All lead guitar, and lead vocal work, and keyboards performed by the artist.
