Location: Bad Doberan’s Galopprennbahn, Germany
Video impression of four days of Zappa music played by old “Zappa-musicians” and Zappa-coverbands. Length: almost 2 hours.
With, amongst others, (parts of) concerts of Remko Serban (unplugged), Frogg Café (with Ed Mann on percussion), Mats/Morgan Band, Ensemble Creativ, The Wrong Object (with Ed Mann on percussion), Kraan, Zappa Graduates (with Napoleon Murphy brock), Ed Mann & Friends.
Zappanale is an annual music festival held outside Bad Doberan, a German town previously part of East Germany. The festival was first held in 1990, and the program features various bands performing the music of the late composer and guitarist Frank Zappa. Many musicians who have previously played with Zappa have performed at the festival over the years.
This year, on 17, 18 and 19 July you can visit the 26th Zappanale.
