While Pink Floyd's widely popular Pulse is featured as one of the best DVDs of 2006, Rush's Replay x 3 is a similar treasure trove aimed at enriching fans' knowledge of the band's evolution over the years. While they don't have the visual splendor of Pulse, each gig provides its own special moments, notably "The Trees" and "Xanadu" (from "Exit"), "The Spirit of Radio" and a medley of "YYZ/The Temples of Syrinx / Tom Sawyer / Vital Signs" (from "Grace"), as well as the stunning Alex Lifeson - showcase "La Villa Strangiato" (in "A Show of Hands"). And Neil Parth's always impressive drum solos (in "Rhythm Method"), and while the original video is sometimes muddy in quality (as happened with "Grace Under Pressure" directed by Pulse's David Mallet), there's no doubt that 5.1- channel Dolby Digital remastering (overseen by Lifeson and Mike Fraser) is a significant improvement in the overall sound,
