here is one of the very few italian artist to be internationally aknowledged. Since the seventies, he has been writing short (pop) songs with (sublime) jazzy arrangements and functional hooks. And it's a rare occasion where economic success meets artistic value 
Note that the interview (track 24) was recorded duringt the early evening and actually broadcast just before the concert (at 21.21). 
Also, it sounds like stage microphones were not windshielded...
