TELLUS REQUIEM comes from Trondheim, Norway and consists of five members. The line-up of Arve Hage GRYTBAKK (vocals), Espen HEKTOEN (drums), Stig NERGÅRD (guitars), Ivar Hagen BØE (bass) and Torbjørn KOBBERSTAD (keys) released their first, self-titled, album in 2010. In November 2010, Sondre LYNGWAR (vocals) and Anders SUNDBØ (keys) replaced GRYTBAKK and KOBBERSTAD respectively, who both left the band for personal reasons. The music of TELLUS REQUIEM is an interesting blend of heavy power and progressive metal with crunchy guitars and clean melodies; among their many and diverse influences, SYMPHONY X is the one most evident.
