Mortal Kombat 3
MORTAL KOMBAT 3 is the third installment in this immensely popular and intensely gory series. Shao Kahn has assumed control of Earth and the Outworld, and now both are plunged into darkness, overrun by his barbaric beasts. You must clash with evil to restore order and put Shao Kahn in his place. Are you ready to sacrifice your soul in battle? Go toe-to-toe with 15 ruthless pugilists, including new fighters like Nightwolf, the four-armed Sheeva, riot cop Stryker, and Shao Kahn's evil bride Sindel. Of course, youll also find your old favorites like Jax, Sonya, and Liu Kang. All of the moves from the arcade version are here as well, and you can also take on a friend and find out who is the king of kombat.
Mortal Kombat 4
The fight for your life is on! Enter the realm of Mortal Kombat. You are in a fight to save Earth from the deadly hands of Shinnok, and to save your own skin too! You must fight your way through a score of other fighters and then face Shinnok himself in a deadly battle that will decide who is the supreme champion of Mortal Kombat. Choose from 15 characters, including the legendary Liu Kang and the mighty Scorpion, each with their own special moves and fatalities and weapons. Fight in several locations in 3D, with interactive backgrounds, which can be used against your enemies. Move in 3D to dodge projectiles and enemy attacks. Choose to fight through the Single Player mode and defeat Shinnok, complete with several difficulties and unique endings for each character. Take on a friend in the Two-Player Battle mode or see how long you can last in the Endurance mode.
Mortal Kombat Mythologies Sub-Zero
MK MYTHOLOGIES Sub-Zero focuses on the popular MK character Sub-Zero, as it delves into his past with Scorpion, and how he got involved in the Mortal Kombat tournament. MKM plays like an MK game except that instead of fighting in the confines of an arena, you are free to run around the environment. The controls are identical to MK3, except that buttons for picking up items and turning around have been added. Sub-Zeros MK3 combos are available as are his special moves, which must be earned through experience points. Youll also get impressive FMV sequences that help tell the story and explain a lot of unanswered questions about Sub Zeros past.
Mortal Kombat Special Forces
Kano is on the run again, and this time he has entered another dimension. Seeking revenge, Special Forces officer Jax goes after him. Unfortunately, he is caught in the middle of the Mortal Kombat Competition. You must guide Jax as he fights through demons in an attempt to locate Kano and extract his vengeance. Luckily, Jax has quite a few fighting moves to take on the enemies, even when more than one attacks him at once. But if there are too many enemies, Jax can use one of his many combos or even a special move to take care of business. When he takes out enough adversaries, he will gain new combinations and moves. In MORTAL KOMBAT SPECIAL FORCES youll discover more about the relationship between Kano and Jax and get the chance to show off your fighting skills.
Mortal Kombat Trilogy
MORTAL KOMBAT TRILOGY brings the whole MORTAL KOMBAT universe to the PlayStation on one disc. Die-hard fans of the series will go krazy over all-new finishing moves and a new secret character, Chameleon. In addition to the multitude of great-looking backgrounds and digitized characters, MORTAL KOMBAT TRILOGY also includes more options, as players can do more than change the difficulty and toggle the violence mode, a new feature called auto combos can be used, which make the standard multi-button attacks much easier to pull off. You can also take on a friend in the Multiplayer mode and see who is the real king of kombat. Of course, no MORTAL KOMBAT game would be complete without all the fatalities and other staples of the MK franchise, and TRILOGY is no exception.
