Plot: In the 21st century we've basically seen every film imaginable on religion. Everyone knows why people go to CHURCH or SYNAGOGUE or MOSQUE and feel the need to spread the word of their GOD. Their faith teaches them that they must follow their religion to enter the kingdom of HEAVEN or they will die or burn in some hell. If you believe, there seems to be good reason to spread the word. to save the souls of mankind. Makes sense...if you believe. But what about those who don't? Who have rejected organized religion and prefer concrete knowledge to faith and belief? Using humour GODLESS is an entertaining exploration of the contemporary world of NEW ATHEISTS, AGNOSTICS, HUMANISTS, FREETHINKERS and others who have chosen not to follow an organized religion. What we want to know is why this sizable minority, who make up 1 in 7 people worldwide, have become more visible and vocal than they have been throughout history? Why are groups forming in cities all over the secular and even religious world, joining the prominent voices of people like Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens, spreading the word through things like bus campaigns, kids camps, rappers, stand up comedy, web-based shows and even atheist priests meanwhile risking persecution even death for the exposure of their disbelief? These are just some of the questions this film seeks to find out. Come with us on our journey to the frontlines of the GODLESS.
