Op 21 april is het 50 jaar geleden dat Radio Veronica begon met uitzenden vanaf een schip net buiten de territorale wateren, wat het begin zou betekenen van het fenomeen 'Radio Veronica'. In samenwerking met Sony Music brengt Universal Music de 5-delige serie "50 Jaar Radio Veronica" uit. Universal Music brengt twee delen uit te weten de jaren '60 en '70, Sony Music de 80's, 90's en 00's. Elk deel bevat 3-cd's welke zijn verpakt in een fraaie digipak voorzien van een booklet met leuke anekdotes geschreven door Erik de Zwart en Bart van Leeuwen. De gehele serie zal worden ondersteund door een radio-campagne op Radio Veronica.
