Elevation, the debut album by Americeltic duo Trace & Baerd, is a heartfelt acoustic journey, produced by Brittany Haas and recorded by Grammy-winning engineer Dave Sinko. Featuring one fiddle, one guitar, and no multitracking or metronome, it captures the raw spontaneity of two musicians (joined by Haas on two tracks) playing in harmony. The 15 original instrumental tracks are melodic and inviting, balancing musicality with simplicity. Calming yet uplifting, Elevation evokes the warmth of companionship and the beauty of exploration.
