The proof that the phrase "There's life in the old dog yet" is true was delivered by Heino already last year. Everything came suddenly. Heino surprised with a new repertoire. His album "Mit freundlichen Grüßen" sold more than 250,000 times. Heino stormed with almost 75 years the German Albumcharts and was nominated King of Downloads of the year.

Now he is covering his own folk music hits his fans are demanding of him on almost any concert. But simply covering them would be boring. Together with different producers from the Rock and Metal scene, he conjured totally new Rock versions of his old "Schlager" songs. And this is why - adjusted to the music - the old well-known pop song "Blau blüht der Enzian" becomes the album title "Schwarz blüht der Enzian".
