Navigation software from Sygic is trusted by millions of people worldwide. The company has been developing first-class navigation software since its establishment in 2004. In addition to the popular navigation application for iPhone and Android and location sharing family application Family, Sygic also provides professional navigation solutions for business.

Michal Stencl, co-founder and CEO of Sygic, started programming when he was just seven years old. He finished programming his own operating system at the age of twenty. As a result of this experience Michal decided to build Sygic on innovation and challenging one’s own limits.

From the very beginning, Sygic focused on developing navigation software that could run on any operating system and adapt to any device. Thanks to this strategy, in 2009 Sygic became the first-ever navigation app for iPhone available on the App Store. The app almost immediately became the Top Grossing application on the App Store in 10 countries. Just a few months later Sygic became the second company worldwide to bring navigation to Android. A year later, Sygic once again reached another world-first, this time with the first real 3D navigation.

The innovations in industrial solutions did not lag behind. Professional solutions form Sygic serve business customers in both the private and the public sector. Among others Sygic Fleet was used by to the organizers of the Summer Olympic Games in London and chosen by the police force in São Paulo, Brazil. Today Sygic navigates in 115 countries around the world, competing with leading companies on the navigation market.

With more than 30 million unique users, Sygic GPS Navigation is the most popular offline navigation app for OS Android and iOS and one of Top 20 applications in more than 40 countries.

In January 2013 Sygic launched new family safety and location sharing application Family by Sygic. Two months later was the Family by Sygic app awarded by North America’s largest parent testing community - Parent Tested Parent Approved (PTPA).

Sygic has been ranking in the Deloitte Fast 50 CEE or Deloitte Fast 500 EMEA chart of the fastest growing IT companies every year since 2008.
