This CD represents material from a number of the original Mercury Living Presence LPs. A number of the cuts are by the Eastman Rochester Pops recorded in the late 50's (cuts 13 & 14 are the from the all-time greatest October 1956 session that got squeezed out of the below-linked Coates CD.) The recording quality is rich and the performances are sterling.
