Nicki Parrott (1970, Newcastle, New South Wales) is een Australische muzikant (zang, bas, componist) in het spectrum van modern tot mainstream jazz.

Parrott speelde aanvankelijk dwarsfluit en piano. Om in de band haar zus Lisa te kunnen spelen, maakte ze de overstap naar de contrabas. Ze studeerde aan het New South Wales Conservatorium Of Music in Sydney. Toen ging ze op tournee en nam lessen bij Ray Brown en John Clayton. In 1994 ontving ze een beurs van de Arts Council van Australië om te studeren in New York City met Rufus Reid. In 2000 nam ze deel aan sessies in de Les Paul Iridium Jazz Club. Les Paul moedigde haar vocale ontwikkeling aan. In de volgende jaren speelde ze in Broadway-ensembles, zoals in Avenue Q, You Are A Good Man Charlie Brown, Imaginary Friends, Summer of '42 en Jekyll en Hyde.

Ze maakte tot nu toe 14 albums onder haar eigen naam.

Op haar albums speelt ze een scala aan jazz standards zoals Jitterbug Waltz, Come Rain Or Come Shine of Moon River, maar ook klassieke stukken van Chopin en Schumann en haar eigen composities zoals The Awabakal Suite. 
Parrott's arrangementen zijn luchtig en levendig, soms verrijkt met een bedwelmende Latijnse flair. Ze is vaak omringd door talenten als Houston Person, Ken Peplowski, haar zus, de saxofoniste Lisa Parrott; Gil Goldstein en John DiMartino. De focus ligt hierbij meestal op de zang, maar ook haar basspel, hetzij solo of als begeleiding, moet beslist gehoord worden.
