Kathryn Dawn Lang, OC (1961), artiestennaan k.d. lang (kleine letters!), is een Canadese pop- en country singer-songwriter.

Lang heeft zowel Juno Awards als Grammy Awards gewonnen voor haar prestaties; hits zijn o.a. "Constant Craving" and "Miss Chatelaine". Ze heeft muziek voor soundtracks geschreven en heeft gespeeld met musici als Roy Orbison, Tony Bennett, Elton John, Anne Murray, Ann Wilson, and Jane Siberry. Lang zet zich ook in voor dieren-, gay- en mensenrechten (Tibet). Ze beoefend boeddhistische tantra (Tibetaans Boeddhisme). Ze zong Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" live bij de openingsceremonie van de 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada. Ze had ook een optreden bij de sluitingsceremonie van de 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary. Lang heeft het vocale bereik van een mezzo-soprano.

Ze heeft meer dan vijftien albums gemaakt. Haar muziek varieert van Country tot Pop, Rock, Folk en Jazz.
