Renegade Rock N Roll is a perfect example of improving on a already great product. Everything that is great about Phil's first album (Nothing to Lose) is still present, with even more depth. The introduction of the fiddle brings out even more of the soul in the music. As with his debut album, the song writing and musicality of this album is outstanding. Songs like "You Can Have Me" "Love Comes and Goes" and "Back of a 73" reach in and grab you and won't let go. The title track "Back to Mobile" and "Working Man's Son" are songs what you can't help but move with. All around a solid second album where every song has something you'll love about it.
