Plot or synopsis

A Meng (Gui Lun Mei) and Yue Zhen two high school girls are the best of friends. 
However, after Yue Zhen develops a crush for Shi Hao (Chen Bo Lin) of the swimming 
team and asks A Meng to forward a message to him that she mistakenly signs with her 
own name a tragic romantic tale is set in motion.

filifeenix's Comments @ ADC:  I first saw this movie a couple years back when I picked up the R1 
version from Strand Releasing.  That version had a dull colored print and burnt-in English subtitles, 
but that hardly detracted at all from the beautiful, hypnotic story.  This movie is one of the 
most realistic and poignant portrayals of adolescence I've ever seen, and I came away with the 
same bittersweet feeling I had after watching Shunji Iwai's Love Letter.  Anyhow, I finally acquired 
the Japanese R2 dvd, and the print is MUCH MUCH better (colors are bright and vivid).  I went back 
and ripped the hard subs from the R1 release, which has better grammar than the HK Edko dvd, and 
used it to custom sub the R2 release.  This is the result.  Hope you enjoy!
