On November 11, 1987, Southside Johnny and Little Steven (Miami Steve Van Zandt) took the stage at the Count Basie Theater in Red Bank , NJ to headline the Concert for Missing Children. Also on the bill were Marshall Crenshaw, Gary U. S. Bonds, and La Bamba & The Hubcaps. Paul Schaefer and his fellow musicians from the David Letterman Show served as the backing band for the night.
