Tiesto’s new collaboration with Allure beautifully perpetuates the mythical ethos of the living legend we have all come to know and love. Back in the day, Tiesto himself used the Allure moniker as a pure unwavering trance side project: he last dawned this persona when he collaborated on the  Allure album Kiss From The Past. Recently however the eternal baton has been passed to a new generation ready to keep the tradition of purist trance alive.

In a mere six days, Tiesto’s first collaborative single with the reincarnation of Allure will be unleashed on the world leaving no room for speculative rumors as to the validity of Allure as an independent artist. The track in question, A Pair of Dice, is a brilliant marriage of old meets new. While the track does feature a thumping beat it does not devolve into blinding bass like many of Tiesto’s recent releases: Hell Yeah, Chasing Summers, and Maximal Crazy. 

Although all that has been released is a simple preview the track seems closer to a traditional trance trajectory with great progression and a subtle ebb and flow of raw emotion. The tempo remains high the entire time ensuring a dance ready release while the vibe fluctuates keeping the track from feeling repetitive.
