Gathered Tracks Vol. 7

A gathering of radio performances from 2002-2007. Most are for various National Public Radio shows, like Fresh Air, World Cafe and other live, on-air studio sessions. Two tracks come from an appearance on WNYC in New York. There’s some song repetition as a result – three versions of “Let It Blow” and “Old Thames Side,” for instance – but, so what? You also get RT’s unreleased “Hots For The Smarts” and his grim, 9/11 response, “Outside Of The Inside,” written by RT from the point of view of the Taliban. Great sound.
