Cannibalism has been documented in very recent times in the remote Asmat region of Irian Jaya.

A canoe journey through this area, interviewing confessed cannibals and recording a way of life rapidly being eroded.

Also a trek through the Baliem Valley, home of the Dani tribe whose men wear nothing but penis gourds. Tree houses, pig kills, mock battles.

This is a thrilling expedition through one of the world's truly last untamed regions. Many scenes of very primitive behaviour.
