As great as the Four Seasons is, the impression one gets sometimes that it is Vivaldi's only masterpiece is terribly wrong. The concertos from La Cetra are every bit as fine, complex, tuneful, and captivating. These performances by the Academy are superb, with warm analogue sound. The violin solos are particularly beautiful. Great music to relax by.
