It's not clear how enthused Disney will be over this sale since they plan to reissue some of the Dark Horse Comics in an alternate-universe trade paperback series entitled the Star Wars Legends Epic Collection. Buying in now would pretty much negate the need to purchase any of these Marvel releases, provided you're okay with reading comics on a color tablet as opposed to physical form.

Disney has gone on record stating that nothing from the Dark Horse run or the expanded universe will be considered "canon." Everything non-Legends-affiliated moving forward, will be canon, however, unless otherwise noted.
