Post Description
The Olms, better known as the songwriting duo of Pete Yorn and JD King, draw from a wide array of pop music history on their first record together. Shades of The Beatles, The Kinks and others from the Brit Invasion are found throughout these ten songs. There is a vast difference between wearing said influences on your sleeve and flat out copying them. And though it might be tough to deny who might have influenced the group on songs like On The Line and Twice As Nice, the group’s simplistic pop songs serve as a great homage to the fantastic music of yesteryear.
