Info:
Even if it is not stones mania, if they are a bit familiar with rock, everyone knows that they are at their height, the 1973 European tour. Especially the overwhelming popularity in Japan has unwavering things. It is now time for the official to have an item called “THE BRUSSELS AFFAIR”, but for a long time I gave my mania a fairness of the European tour for 73 years was a series of radio sounds that were broadcast at the time . More to speak, various items based on radio broadcasting. Because of the nature of radio, the point that it was recorded with a perfect stereo sound board was too attractive for maniac.
The radio program “THE KING BISCUIT FLOWER HOUR” was broadcasted. Rather, starting with the stage of 73 years, thanks to a contract with Stones for a live broadcast every few years, it gave me the opportunity to leave the best sound quality live stereo sound board recording at the Stones of each age For maniacers, thankfully a radio show. Although we already released a broadcasting sound source from the US · tour from our shop, this time we will want to call it a genuine release of the broadcast of the European tour in two seasons at this volume!

First recorded on the first page is “THE KING BISCUIT FLOWER HOUR” (hereinafter referred to as KBFH) broadcast version of 1974. It is a historical broadcast that produced famous name boards such as TMOQ “EUROPEAN TOUR 1973”, “BEDSPRING SYMPHONY”, and God boot “NASTY MUSIC” from this broadcast. The broadcast has been done twice, September 29, 1974 and November 24, this time air checking each, and the cassette tape of the master that has been carefully kept for many years is the basis I will. Of course this appeared on the net, but unlike the monaural recorded version that appeared more recently, this is a real, clear, stereophonic faithful to the broadcast.
This broadcast has been blessed with a sound source that air checked the broadcast perfectly before, LP already listed the highest sound quality item as well as “EUROPE 73” since entering the 1980s, even in the 1990s CD titles and similar titles of the same title are released later. However, the air check tape of this time stands out wonderfulness of the state which exceeds such a past title as well. Naturally it is very natural, and above all, the reappearance of Charlie and Bill’s rhythm team exceeds past items. Of course, that is just the wonder of the original sound, I do not manage anything exaggerated by equalization in this release.
And “Happy” and “Gimme Shelter” changed to the actual live performance order. It became a record after resolving the most uncomfortable feeling in the 74-year broadcast version.
In the case of
In the 1980s, the sound source of the European tour in 1939 was rebroadcasted suddenly on September 27, 1987 and November 20, 1988. Directly recorded from the KBFH broadcasting disc which recorded the latter broadcasting on this second piece. Besides reflecting the flow of the times, the board is made of CD rather than LP. CD items piled from this disc also appeared at the time and it seems that it was this time that many manias got to know the name “KBFH”.
Beyond that, it was a big topic that some takes were remixed at this time’s broadcast, or until the first appearance take was discovered. If the 1974 version is the power of the bottom of the rhythm corps, the 1988 edition is the beauty of clearness which seems to be the CD era. However, since this broadcast has been broadcast less than four songs from the year 74, it is summarized by editing close to the actual live content by compensating those four songs from the 74th edition. Furthermore, regarding “Dancing with Mr. D” which was lacking in the intro, it compensated for the weak cut at the soundboard recording of London on September 9 broadcasted on the same radio sound source.
In addition to the merit that the broadcast at this time is recorded long after “Angie”, this time it covers the remix version of “Brown Sugar” Brussels, first show of the 87th anniversary broadcast version as a bonus , It is easy to cover the contents of the KBFH broadcast version of each age.
There is a feeling that has already been spoken among maniacs, but in this way there are many mix differences and take differences included in the two ages, and the point that it includes many different performances from the official “THE BRUSSELS AFFAIR” But still the value of these broadcasts has not faded at all. And the wonderfulness of the performance will not be touched now. Enjoy the listening comprehension of the 74 years edition that pushed out the dynamism of the band, the 88th edition which also made use of the sound of the clear and brass, and the broadcast of each historical 73 year Europe tour.
