Morris LeGrande is a fresh voice in contemporary jazz that brings a distinct flavor and sound to the genre. Although Morris plays the all of the instruments on the majority of the songs, he called in some of the finest musicians in the San Francisco bay area. "Sippin" Merlot" features the heart felt lead vocals of Greg Ballad, and on various tracks there is Brandon "Mr. Pocket" Ransburg and Carlin Johnson on drums, Cliff Gamble and Michael "Spiderman" Robinson on keyboards, and JPaul Macklin on percussion. The result was a fantastic sprinkling of flavor and soul to the tracks.
