Varese Sarabande has announced a soundtrack album for the action thriller John Wick. The album features the film’s original music composed by Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, 300, Watchmen, Dawn of the Dead) and Joel J. Richard. Also included are the film’s original club tracks by Le Castle Vania, as well as songs by Ciscandra Nostalghia, KALEIDA, The Candy Shop Boys and M86 & Susie Q.
The soundtrack will be released on October 30, 2014.
John Wick is directed by Chad Stahelski and stars Keanu Reeves, Michael Nyqvist, Alfie Allen, Adrianne Palicki, Bridget Moynahan, Dean Winters, Ian McShane, John Leguizamo and Willem Dafoe. The movie is set in New York City and follows an ex-hitman who comes out of retirement to track down the gangsters that took everything from him. The thriller will be released nationwide on October 24 by Summit Entertainment/Lionsgate.
