This season all drivers from season 7 return to Manitoba, with the exception of Joey Barnes. For the first time ever, there will be no new truckers this season.

The same companies Polar and VP Express are shown. Darrell, Art, and Lisa work for Polar this season. Todd this season switches over to Polar to work this season.Alex will work for Hugh Rowland's VP Express this season. Season 8 will premiere on July 7, 2014.
