The maestro Brian Eno returns with a new album on 12 November. LUX will be called and will be the first solo album in seven years of the composer. His last two jobs, Small Craft On A Milk Sea (2010) and Drums Between the Bells (2011) were collaborations with Jon Hopkins and Leo Abrahams, in the first case, and with Rick Holland in the second.
Here's how it describes Warp Records , the label that will distribute the album, this new plate Eno:
LUX is one of the most ambitious to date Eno. It is a composition of 75 minutes divided into twelve sections and inspired by a work of the Grand Gallery of the Palace of Venaria of Turin (Italy).
Except to be released on vinyl, CD and digital format, we have more to offer too much data. We are not sure that it will release a preview of the plate because there are four topics about twenty minutes in length, so it makes little sense to cut one of them to premiere as a single, especially taking into account the global sense Eno compositions.
