Depeche Mode is een Britse band die elektronische muziek maakt. De synthpopformatie werd in 1980 opgericht in Basildon (Engeland). In Nederland en België scoorde de band verscheidene hits, waaronder People are People, Just Can't Get Enough en Enjoy the Silence. 
De naam van de band komt van een Frans modetijdschrift, Dépêche mode, wat "modenieuws" betekent.
