De app was jarenlang een betaalde toepassing, maar sinds 2025 is deze volledig gratis te downloaden voor alle gebruikers.
Ik heb destijds zelf de serverversie gekocht voor een paar euro en ben er nog steeds zeer tevreden mee. 

Windows Defender kan daarbij gewoon ingeschakeld blijven.
