Ever since she became a household name thanks to Big Brother, Davina McCall has proved to be an enduringly watchable presence.

Now she’s headed for the planet’s most diverse environments in her new four-part ITV series Life at the Extreme.

As the title hints, the show sees McCall visit the harshest landscapes on earth, from the scorching heat of the desert, to the crushing depths of the ocean, and everything in between.
