Paradise Lost
At The Mill 2020

▲ In volle coronacrisis bracht Paradise Lost in mei 2020 
het album ‘Obsidian’ uit, een groot succes dat bovenaan 
jaarlijsten prijkte bij menige metalfan. Vanwege de ban 
op reguliere live shows, besloten ook deze iconen van go-
thic/doom/death metal iets te doen wat ze nooit gedacht 
hadden te (hoeven) doen: een show spelen zonder publiek. 
Dat gebeurde op 5 november 2020 in The Mill Nightclub, 
een tot nachtclub getransformeerde uitgerangeerde molen. 
Paradise Lost heeft er jarenlang zijn repetitieruimte gehad. 
Heel vertrouwd terrein in de nabijheid van hun thuisstad 
Yorkshire dus.▼
