David William Edmunds (15 april 1944) is een gepensioneerde Welshe zanger, songwriter, gitarist en muziekproducent.

Hoewel hij vooral geassocieerd wordt met pub-rock en new-wave, en veel hits scoorde hij in de jaren 70 en begin jaren 80, hij heeft altijd een natuurlijke voorkeur gehad voor rock-'n-roll en rockabilly in de stijl van de jaren 50.
