Kate Elliott (pseudoniem van Alis A. Rasmussen) is een Amerikaans schrijfster van fantasy en science fiction boeken.

Al haar boeken zijn bijgevoegd, inclusief een aantal anthologies waarin een kort verhaal is opgenomen dat niet in haar eigen verhalenbundel, [i]The Very Best of Kate Elliott[/i], staat.

[i]Black Wolves[/i] is het eerste deel uit een geplande trilogie [i]The Black Wolves[/i], maar de uitgever heeft na dit eerste deel de stekker eruit getrokken. Echter zonder de rechten van de geplande boeken terug te geven aan Elliott, dus die is nog steeds op zoek naar een mogelijkheid de andere twee boeken alsnog uit te geven. Voorlopig zonder resultaat.

[i]Golden Key[/i] is een samenwerking tussen Kate Elliott, Melanie Rawn en Jennifer Roberson. Het was de bedoeling dat ze eerst samen een boek zouden schrijven ([i]The Golden Key[/i]) om vervolgens daarna elk afzonderlijk een prequel of sequel te schrijven. Melanie Rawn schreef een prequel ([i]The Diviner[/i]) dat vele jaren later pas verscheen, Roberson en Elliott hebben nooit een aanvullend boek geschreven. Ik heb voor de volledigheid wel het boek van Rawn bijgesloten.

In Nederland zijn alleen de eerste twee boeken uit de [i]Spiritwalker[/i] reeks vertaald, de andere boeken zijn niet in het Nederlands beschikbaar.

Elliott's meest recente boek is [i]Furious Heaven[/i], deel 2 uit de science fiction/space opera reeks [i]The Sun Chronicles[/i], dat deze maand verscheen.
